THE BAG STORY
The Chloé Silverado is one of the defining bags of the house’s early-2000s era — a period when Chloé became synonymous with relaxed, bohemian luxury.
With its softly structured shape, equestrian-inspired detailing and generous use of leather, the Silverado was designed to feel a little undone rather than overly polished. That lived-in quality is part of what gives vintage examples so much character today.
This particular piece comes in Anthracite, a deep charcoal-toned colour that is considerably less common to come across than the more familiar brown, tan and lighter neutral versions. It gives the Silverado a moodier, more understated feel while remaining incredibly versatile.
The result is a bag that feels distinctly archival but surprisingly easy to wear today — equally at home with denim, boots and a relaxed knit as it is with a more polished everyday look.
Finding an Anthracite Silverado in this overall condition, together with its original Chloé tags, makes this an especially lovely example of an increasingly collectible Chloé classic.
CONDITION DISCLAIMER
In very good vintage pre-loved condition.
The leather remains soft, supple and nicely preserved, with normal signs of age and previous use throughout. There are some light stains, areas of discolouration and surface wear in certain sections of the exterior. These are consistent with the age and naturally relaxed character of the Silverado and do not significantly detract from the overall presentation of the bag.
The handles show some normal wear but remain strong and well preserved with plenty of life left. The hardware displays some age-appropriate wear and areas of discolouration, consistent with vintage use.
The interior remains clean and well maintained, with only light signs of previous use. Overall, the bag presents beautifully for its age and remains in very good vintage condition, with the leather, structure and key functional elements all nicely preserved.
